Poll Results: You’ll Still be Traveling

Ten days ago, I posed the question:
In light of the new travel restrictions, will you be changing any of your plans?
71% of you plan on going right on ahead with your plans, while only 6% of you plan to cancel or reschedule.  24% of you had no plans to change — darn!

Today I have a special post written by my pal, Jeffrey Whelan, a NYC resident, and a great source for east coast information.  I’ve known Jeffrey for about three years, and we’ve shared laughs, a cup of coffee or two, and shared our travel experiences.  Thanks, my friend, for agreeing to share some of your travel […]

Real Snakes on Real Planes

“Snakes on a Plane”

This weekend was the opening of the movie “Snakes on a Plane.”

Money Saving Travel Tips for Monday, August 21st

The Archives maintains documents and materials created in the business affairs of the Federal government that are deemed legally or historically important.  The documents are preserved, and available to the public.
While the Archives […]

Take the MSNBC Travel Quiz

I’d like to think that I’m “up” on the latest travel information, so I took the MSNBC Travel Quiz.
Here’s the only question that I missed:
Every golf fanatic in the world should know this. What is the most expensive public access golf course in the United States?
Take the quiz and let me know how you […]

Flight Attendants Feelin’ the Love from the NY Times

The venerable New York Times ran an article earlier this week called “Maybe the Toughest Job Aloft.”
The author spent time talking with long term flight attendants about how the job has changed over the years, and how the recent foiled terrorist plot plays into their daily life.
“I don’t think the average traveler considers the real […]
