I agree with the top 5 most definitely. Continental has put together a nice first class product. Just wished I could get to experience it more often.

Thanks for stopping by, Rob. I’ve heard lots of good things about Contintal’s service as well.

I’ve only experienced United’s first class section. It was heavenly. Like Rob, I also wish to fly first class more often. One can hope.

I purchase First Class most of the time when I travel and there are three opinions that I’d like to share:

    1. Alaska is a gem! They have the best people and most positive attitude in the sky. I’ve been living in Seattle for 5 years and have never had a bad experience.
    2. American tries hard and they have some great equipment, but their best years are behind them. Sorry to say this, but all of their young, enthusiastic people have been flushed out of the system. You’re simply not going to get a very enjoyable experience out of worn-out crew memebers who really, (REALLY!) do not want to be there.
    3. US Airways / America West SUCKS! This is an organization that appears to make every effort possible to ruin your travel experience. It’s not just a matter of having a bad experience with these people, they would have defrauded me of three first class tickets if I had not threatened to take them to court. Their cabin attendants are uniformly apathetic, rude and (in my experience) the very worst at their craft. I would prefer to cancel a trip than waste money on this pathetic bunch.
