Brunch is a Drag in San Francisco

by Mary Jo Manzanares on September 27th, 2007

Brunch is San Francisco is always a real treat. And what could be better than brunch in a classic environment — with a twist.

Sir Francis Drake Enjoy a weekly Drag Queen performance during brunch at Harry Denton’s Starlight Room , on the 21st floor of the Sir Francis Drake Hotel (450 Powell Street).

It’s a salute to the traditional variety show, for those of you remember Finocchio’s (I know that I do!), and you’ll be treated to a mah-vel-ous 45-minute show during your brunch.  Comedy, impersonation acts, lip-synchs and more will have you laughing and clapping in addition to enjoying your meal.

There are two seatings for Sunday brunch, noon and then again at 2:30 pm, and you’ll see the classic pastry table, carving station, personalized omelets, alo0ng with salads, fruit, and a variety of entrees.

Price for brunch is $39.95/person, which includes brunch, coffee, tea, and entertainment.  A full bar is also available.

Reservations for the first show are available starting at 11 am; for the second show starting at 1:30 pm.

For reservations, call 415-395-8595 or email reservations@harrydenton.com.

NOTE:  18 years of age and older only.
