Circuit Boards for Luggage Tags

by Mary Jo Manzanares on September 29th, 2007

After reading my post about checking bags, a reader (Pat) wrote that she was going to take my suggestions to heart, and try checking her bags on an upcoming holiday.

She then sent me the link to some fun baggage tags that she had ordered, following the suggestion to use something brightly colored, a little different, and easily identifiable.  (That was tip #2 on the list.)  I thought I’d share her find, as these tag really are a little different from what I usually see.

Circuit Board Luggage Tags These Circuit Board luggage tags are made out of recycled PCB’s, and each one has a one-of-a-kind look.  The circuit board is one one side, and on the other is a cardholder for your name and vitals statistics.  Sold in sets of three.  Pat found hers on line here, for $12.97/set.

I recently replaced my luggage tags, so I’m not looking for a new set right now.  Since my luggage gets a lot of tough wear and tear, I need to replace tags frequently.  I’ll keep these in mind.

Hat tip to Pat for this idea!
