Making New Friends in San Francisco
Last week I traveled to San Francisco, California, and had the chance to meet Jeremy Wright, b5media’s President and CEO. It’s an odd sensation to meet someone you feel like you already know through email and phone conversations.
Also in town was b5’s tech guru, Aaron Brazell. Aaron has a business-like title, but I much prefer “life saver.” Yeah, I had some tech problems this last week — a big deal for me, but minor for Aaron and he was able to talk me through it.
It was nice to spend an evening with Jeremy and Aaron, talking, swapping stories, and laughing. It almost felt like we were a couple workers from a nearby office building stopping off for drinks on the way home.
Photo note: This photo was taken just outside the BART station at the Embarcadero. It is part of my Project 365, a commitment to chronicle the year (and improve my photography skills) by taking a photo a day for the entire year.
