Matchbook Monday - Picanha
Today’s matchbook comes from Picanha, a churrascaria (Brazilian barbecue), in Palm Desert, California (map it).
This dining tradition dates back hundreds of years, and originated in the pampas of Brazil, with gauchos cooking marinated meat on long skewers oven a fire. The style has been updated and modernized, with meats are carved at your table. The service, at its best, is part food delivery and part performance. You can find a churrascaria in most large cities.

As a match collector for over 35 years and with a collection of over 600,000 match items…I like what you doing with matchbook Monday and find it very interesting and look forward to see more cool matchbooks. Cheers from Australia.

Thanks for stopping by for a look Neil.
Over 600,000 items? WOW! That’s quite a collection.
I hope that you’ll take the time to send me a photo or two to share with readers here at Flyaway Cafe.
