Mr. Toothbrush Can Get You Through Security
Are you looking for a way to help deal with the grooming challenges now caused by the “no liquids or gels” security directive?
What do you do when you want to freshen your breath mid-flight? Or when you want to make sure that your coffee breath is gone prior to your important meeting?
You could chew gum. Suck on a mint. Or, you could try Mr. Toothbrush.
Mr. Toothbrush comes with dehydrated toothpaste infused into its brush, which activates when wet, and provides ample toothpaste for brushing teeth. Not only is the toothbrush efficient at cleaning your teeth and freshening your breath, but it passes TSA scrutiny as well.
The disposable, one-use toothbrushes, have been around for a while, but have become extremely popular since the ban on taking liquids onboard aircraft went into effect. They can be purchased in packages of 10 for $9.90, with free shipping.

At close to a dollar a brush, I think I’d stick with gum. Of course, I’m also picky about my toothpaste. :) Still, if it was a long flight, I’d probably like to have some scrubbing bristle action- and gum just doesn’t provide that.

Yeah, I’d go with gum for most purposes, too. If I had a big meeting, interview, or something that had a lot riding on it, the $1 wouldn’t seem like a big deal, though.

Super advice….there is nothing like the refreshing feeling after brushing one’s teeth, gum just doesn’t do that !

Thanks for stopping by, CJ. I agree with your thought. Gum will only take you so far.
