Wow — Redoing the livery on an aircraft is very expensive. What do you think it does for Delta’s business to make it worthwhile? Think they really believe more women will fly Delta because of the livery? Or is it an entirely philanthropic gesture to improve breast cancer awareness? Seems like only the wealthiest of companies can do the latter.
Just my opinion.

Tish: I would guess that the aircraft was due to be repainted, and so it wasn’t a completely added expense. I don’t know that the company intends to “get anything” out of it, except maybe to spruce up its tarnished image. Regadless of the motivation, I like the fact that Breast Cancer is getting the press.
Christina: I’d love to know the routes that the plane will be flying and see it in person.
