Poll Results: Price Important, but not the Only Important Issue
Last month’s poll asking about what is the key consideration when booking a flight showed that while price is important, it is not the all important issue.
The most important consideration was price – but within a range that also addressed other issues.
In other words, we want a bargain, but we’re not willing to give up everything for the sake of the bargain.
That sounds about right to me!

I’ll pay a little more if I can fly on NWA or an affiliate since I have most of my miles with them and have often gotten bumped to First Class.

Award program loyalty can be a big motivator in booking. Many people seem willing to pay a little more for to fly on an airline within the program. What constitutes a “little more” probably varies depending on the person and the itinerary.
