Bonnie Screams Haunted Ghost Town

The Old West comes back from the dead with Bonnie Screams Haunted Ghost Town.
Located just outside of Las Vegas, on the 144-acre Bonnie Springs Ranch, the ghost town spans a quarter mile of a creepy looking restored haunted ghost town.
Along the way you’ll encounter a few monsters and ghouls thanks to the [...]

Matchbook Monday: Circo Las Vegas

Today’s Matchbook Monday is one that I picked up during a trip made to Las Vegas earlier this spring.  I attended an event catered by Circo, one of the fine dining restaurants at the Bellagio.
Circo offers upscale Tuscan fare (and corresponding upscale prices) in elegant surroundings that over look a faux Lake Como.  [...]

When it comes to shows and attractions, Las Vegas is known for its over-the-top productions, and Halloween is no exception.
Circus Circus presents Fright Dome, ranked as one of the top five scariest haunted attractions for two years running.
Full of haunted houses (five), live freak shows, rides, scare zones and a few more surprises, Fright [...]

Excalibur Hotel for Ice Cream

Arrive in Las Vegas to a beautiful sunny day, and around 90 degrees.
Checked into my hotel, got settled in my room, and then met up with some friends for a little Cold Stone Creamery Ice Cream.  Big ice cream fun with Darcie, Franca, Rachel, and Darren-O, the latter the only one who abstained [...]

Matchbook Monday: Tao Las Vegas at the Venetian Hotel

I have a trip to Las Vegas next month, and I kept that in mind in choosing today’s Matchbook Monday.
On my last trip to Las Vegas, I visited Tao Restaurant, Nightclub, and Lounge.  Located in the Grand Canal Shoppes at the Venetian (3377 Las Vegas Boulevard South #2025, Las Vegas), it attempts to [...]

Take a Venetian Gondola Ride in Las Vegas

No, it’s not Venice.  It’s the Gondola ride at the Venetian Hotel in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Okay, it’s a little touristy, and it’s definitely NOT Venice, but it’s still a bit of romantic fun away from the flashing lights and noise of the casinos.  You need to take a break from the fast paced action [...]
