Wander the Halloween Fantasy Trail

by Mary Jo Manzanares on October 14th, 2007

Halloween ghost Halloween revelers in the Portland Metro area can wander over to Oregon City, and the Halloween Fantasy Trail located at Wentzel Farm.

While the trail is open year round, it is decorated with spooky sights and sounds for the Halloween season.  The trail goes on for 1,000 feet, though a 40 foot castle filled with ghosts, and goblins, and things that go bump in the night.  You’ll also walk through a crooked house, a tunnel and a maze, and cross a suspension bridge.

The Halloween Fantasy Trail is located at 19754 South Ridge Road, Oregon City, Oregon (map it).  It’s suitable for all ages, and is open daily, noon - 5 pm, and then 7 - 10 pm.  Admission is $4 for adults, and $3.50 for children 12 and under.

There’s also a pumpkin patch for those not inclined toward the scary.
