Waning Hours of Mardi Gras
Just a few waning minutes where I am, actually, but there’s no reason to stop the partying until the clock strikes midnight.
That’s when Lent begins, starting on Ash Wednesday and ending on Easter Sunday. 40 days (Sundays don’t figure into the counting of days) of fasting and penance.
Looks like you’d better enjoy those last precious minutes of frivolity.
