Grandview Woodland community is home to seven elementary schools that include: Lord Nelson Elementary, Britannia Elementary, Grandview Elementary, Queen Alexandra Elementary, Laura Second Elementary, Tyee Elementary, and Victoria Annex. Just over the Grandview Woodland boundary is the Gladstone Secondary school located in the Cedar Cottage area.
This school features a beautiful mural on one of the outside walls that shows the cultural diversity of this neighborhood. Britannia Secondary is one of the oldest remaining secondary schools in the Lower Mainland and it was built in 1908. Another option available when it comes to secondary schools is Templeton Secondary School. Real Estate Board Midian Prices in Grandview Woodland Vancouver
When it comes to prices, the median price for the single-family houses listed for sale is around $2.3 million. The duplexes have an average price of $2 million, while the 1/2 duplexes have a median price of $1.39 million. The townhouses are pretty similar to the 1/2 duplexes, having a median price of $1.29 million, and the most affordable ones, apartments, and condos have a median price of $630.000.
Looking at the HPI table prices, most of the buildings are experiencing an all-time high buying price. The detached dwellings had their all-time low price of $1.47 million back in May 2019 and after that crash, it skyrocketed back to $2 million. Townhouses on the other side had their all-time high back in April 2018 at $1.2 million and they spiked back up recently at the same amount. Apartments kept the most steady line over the last 3 years, always having a price of around $600.000.
